What began as a simple need during a festive evening quickly blossomed into a passion project infused with elegance, creativity, and a touch of magic.

In December 2017, while preparing to host a holiday gathering, my husband and I found ourselves facing a familiar dilemma: how to distinguish each guest’s wine or cocktail glass with something more refined than the typical marker. I envisioned something sophisticated, something that felt as special as the occasion itself.

A quick search for inspiration led me to vintage brooch designs, each one a small piece of art. And just like that, the spark was lit. I began designing wine charms that were not only functional, but also stylish, distinctive, and elegant. That night, the charms were a smash hit. Guests adored them, and requests to purchase started rolling in immediately. What started as a thoughtful detail for a gathering of friends quickly became a product that others wanted to share in their own celebrations.

From upscale corporate soirées to intimate sorority events, or simply a quiet evening with a glass of wine, every charm adds a personalized, sophisticated touch to every occasion.

A few months later, in March 2018, my sister and niece visited us in Arizona. Their first glimpse of the wine charms turned into a celebration of its own. Enchanted, my sister placed an order for her friends in New York just in time for Mother’s Day. The charms found just as much love on the East Coast as they did here at home.

But this charming little business still needed a name.

With the same clarity and sparkle that defines our charms, my brilliant niece said, “Titi, I have the perfect name, "OnceUponAWineCharm.” And just like that, the name and the brand was born.
